Crime Stoppers of Copperas Cove

Copperas Cove Crime Stoppers was founded on July 1, 1984 and closely follows the set guidelines and procedures established in the original program from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Crime Stoppers is administered by a volunteer, civilian board of directors who work with the local Police Department, the media, and the community to reduce crime and convict criminals.

The Copperas Cove Crime Stoppers is a program used to offer an alternative route for citizens to report information they have on a crime which has been committed, and it allows them to remain anonymous in doing so.

Our civilian Board of Directors manages the day to day operations of Crime Stoppers and provides funds which allows the program to offer rewards of up to $1,000 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of persons on felony cases.
